Whats up guys? So lately I ve been trying mixing using a song as a reference. What I noticed is that many songs (progreesive house, future house etc) have a little cut at around 17000-20000 , and that when the drops play that frequency range is "bumping". Now I know that maybe this is a silly question but do I have to cut my at that frequency range. To fully understand what I am saying just load a frequency analyzer and see for yourself. I bet this is not even something important but who knows...

I believe this frequencies aren't audible. Or at least they're just ''hiss'' and cutting them frees headroom.
