That Swedish downlifter

by AlexWho » Sat Jun 25, 2016 3:00 pm

Hi, so i produce that swedish style progressive house and i have projects 99.9% ready. The only reason why i dont have projects completely ready is because i don't have that swedish downlifter to put in the track. Sounds stupid but it is important to me, i want the track to be exactly how i want it to be. It is used by Swedish House Mafia, Otto Knows and many other producers but i have no clue where did they get that sample. If anybody knows and wants to help me that would be great. :)

Murtagh's sample pack has some good ones... I think you can still find it if you google!

Seems like an high pitch descending modulated sine wave with some white noise. I'll try to make one as soon as I have 5 minutes.

But I don't think a single sound may be so critical to any track. I think you're exagerating its importance. Why don't you try and create your own signature downlifter? You'll then have the advantage to tune it to your like. ;)
