Sliding Bass

by IzanMusic » Wed Jun 29, 2016 12:25 am

Hey whats up guys!

So a while back I noticed this really cool sliding bass that Corey James and Will K had going on in their track. Since then I've fallen in love with the idea and tried to experiment with it. It's been forever now and I still can't seem to get it down. I've already heard this trick put to use in many tracks now and it just frustrates me even more. It would be great to hear back from you all! Any ideas? Maybe there's video tutorial out there that hasn't saved my life.. Here are some tracks with this kind of sub bass in case I didn't make myself clear.

All ideas are welcomed! At the end of the day we're trying to help each other grow ;)

Best,

Izan

Hey! You just have to automate the pitch bend! ;)
You can do it using midi pitch bend or using an external VST (I think Waves SoundShifter is great for that!)
Probably using the midi pitch bend is better ;)
